My Mom's dog Joanna (who is the mother to my own doggie Schala) passed away last week. She loved agility and was a champion in both Agility and AKC show. She was such a sweetie and will be missed. This little painting is for my Mom :)

I was lucky enough to go to the SDCC2009! I met my two heroes, Glen Keane and Chris Sanders. I also got to meet Eric Goldberg who is the sweetest guy on the planet! I drew a TON while down there because it was so inspirational to be around those artists. Here are a few pages from my book with a couple cameos from my good bud, Bobby. :)

New Project!

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted. But this is why! My new project: a 2D Animated Short Film! It'll be a lot of work, but I'm really passionate about it and even though it may take me a while... I think it'll be super fun! So here's the initial concept and storyline. I won't explain all of it because I want the story to have it's surprises. I'll post some more artwork and storyboards when I feel I'm ready for them to be shown. Obviously any critiques or comments are welcome. ^_^

*ps* I kinda just threw this thing together (text-wise). It's not written well and I'll come up with a better explanation in the near future.

Hello! I've been reading Drawn to Life (Walt Stanchfield) a lot recently, and it's been a huge inspiration. I want to start working on 2D animation soon but my drawing skills need a lot of help. So I've started following Walt's notes to try and get better. Here is some gesture drawing as well as head studies and other randomness. I've switched to drawing strictly with a pen so I don't try to correct my mistakes, and boy are there a bunch of them! :) Here's hoping to a big improvement over the next few months!
